About Kristen
I created my very first website while in middle school in order to share family photos with my grandparents overseas and have been hooked ever since. Initially focusing on volunteer and freelance projects, I eventually made the complete switch into the creative space in 2017.
My degree in Communication from Rutgers University, along with my certificate in Web Design from Sessions College, has allowed me to develop a user-centric approach to the products I design. With previous experience as an executive assistant at a fast-growing startup, I thrive in complex, ambiguous problem spaces, possessing a strong ability to define clear, cohesive solutions and scalable processes.
My past 9 years of remote work have led me to be intentional about building connections and seeking out the perspectives of my teammates, which means I'm able to bring the best insights and ideas to my products.
Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with my black lab mix, Ivy, buying books about user experience (still working on the reading part), and learning photography with my Nikon camera.
