Hi, I'm Kristen.

Web Design Through The Lens of User Experience

When it comes to web design, function is just as important as form.

I love to create designs and web solutions that make sense for you, your business, and your clients. From the fonts and colors that make your site sparkle, to the features and functionality that keep your visitors returning, I believe that every detail matters. I build websites that not only look great on screen, but also meet the needs of the users behind the screen.

About Kristen

Kristen designed her first website while in middle school to share family photos with her grandparents abroad. Since then, Kristen has used her passion for design to run several blogs, build and maintain WordPress, Squarespace, and Drupal sites, and create graphics for web and print.

Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Rutgers University and an Advanced Certificate of Web Design from Sessions College for Professional Design. When not writing custom CSS for media breakpoints or optimizing sites for faster load times, Kristen can be found baking or on a walk with her dog, Ivy.

Designs Kristen is currently crushing on: SVG animation effects, Particle JS, and Slow Journalism Infographics.
