Communicators for Christ Conference Tour

Goal

Build a website from the ground up to market and securely host a series of online events.

PROCESS

  • Engaged in discovery with client and elicited project requirements, resulting in the design of a WordPress event website using the LearnDash plugin
  • Created graphics appropriate for web by considering page load time, web limitations, and screen resolutions
  • Engaged with cross-functional event team to ensure clean branding and accuracy, enhance marketing efforts, and troubleshoot user accounts

OUTCOMES

  • Information architecture centered around effectively marketing 4 online events with 7 attendee tracks each
  • Secure attendee accounts that provided registered guests with access to Zoom links and internal event schedules and resources

Design a new website to reflect investment firm’s recent rebrand and expanded portfolio.

PROCESS

  • Translated written/verbal themes into visual designs by effectively arranging images and content based on usability principles and web design best practices
  • Created a pathway for new investors to get started with an in-depth modal intake form, using Gravity Forms and connecting to a Mailchimp automation
  • Tested website at various screen sizes for optimal, consistent user experience on any device

  • Creative, functional, visually-pleasing WordPress website for investors to learn and engage
  • Straightforward customer journey for potential investors to access resources and begin working with firm

First Presbyterian Church of Dunellen

Goal

Design and develop bilingual website for church to better serve their diverse congregation and welcome new visitors.

PROCESS

  • Designed and implemented custom branding and technical solutions using Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Modern Events Calendar, WPML, and Restream.io
  • Collaborated with pastor and media team to develop a cohesive content strategy, site architecture, and robust technical back-end to support website features

OUTCOMES

  • Live and previously recorded messages for visitors to access from the safety of their homes
  • Details about service times, bulletins, COVID-19 updates, and more gathered conveniently into one place
  • Fully-translated English and Spanish content, changeable anywhere on site based on user’s preference

Refresh website for marketing agency to showcase recent projects and optimize display for mobile visitors.

PROCESS

  • Designed high-fidelity mockups based on client requirements and branding in Adobe XD for easy review and iteration with executive and marketing team
  • Turned graphic layouts into fully functional web pages using the Squarespace platform, utilizing best practices in User Interface/User Experience design
  • Wrote custom CSS to ensure responsiveness, professionalism, and user-friendliness
